Chat can write workflows

August 14, 2026

Product

You can create and edit a workflow from Chat. + Workflow starts that thread. Files a workflow wrote show up in Files.

Memory, secrets, and a larger HTTP catalog

August 13, 2026

Product

Access now remembers across chats, workflows can use named secrets without exposing them to Chat, and Resources → New includes a much larger set of HTTP apps.

  • Memory — Settings and each named agent can remember facts from chats. Dream on a schedule or now. Exclude a thread or mark it temporary.
  • Secret grants — store a credential for workflows. Chat cannot read it. fetch sends the real value only to the hosts you listed.
  • Chat — type @ to pick a connection, a note, a workflow, or (on a new chat) the agent for the thread. Chat can prefill a connect form and ask you to approve a connection-setting change.
  • HTTP apps — many vendor APIs from their OpenAPI specs, plus developer platforms, in the same picker as Postgres and Slack.
Access is here

August 5, 2026

Release

First public cut of Access — the AI company workspace. Agents that own the work. Access keeps the passwords.

  • Connect Postgres, Slack, Kubernetes, and the rest of your stack
  • Agents that do the work, not chatbots that only answer
  • Point Cursor or Claude at one MCP server for the whole catalog
  • Knowledge, files, and skills so agents don’t start from zero
  • Recurring work as code — not a visual canvas
  • Docs with Guides and Changelog
